Hate Crime Watch
On September 24th there was a report that LGBT person was attacked outside a bar near the Convention Center. This is the third attack on an LGBT person in Washington D.C this month, with the other instances taking place in Gallery Place/Chinatown and Georgetown.The Gay and Lesbian Liaison Unit of the Metro Police Department has provided information on staying safe/hate crimes that we encourage all students to read:
